iRun !

Running has been my passion. I have always found a deep sense of calmness in running and I always go into this zombie state where nothing around me is able to influence me! I love it.

And ya it also is important for me to run because otherwise there is no other way to maintain my health. So here it goes. From this point on I resolve to run 5K atleast 4 times a week and to hit the gym at least 3 times a week. I am also embedding a google calendar in Which I will track my progress !

Here I Am !

Here I Am !

Listening to Here I Am by Bryan Adams, and listening to it after a loooong time ! I remember listening to this song in my KGP days when I was anxious. It gave me confidence and still does. It love this this song!

Here I am - this is me
There’s no where else on earth I’d rather be
Here I am - it’s just me and you
And tonight we make our dreams come true

It’s a new world - it’s a new start
It’s alive with the beating of young hearts
It’s a new day - it’s a new plan
I’ve been waiting for you
Here I am

Started reading “It’s not about the bike”. Its like taking shots of inspiration one after another!

I love this song. The staring is so soothing and the ending so dynamic. Perfect !

Reminds of the endless bike rides we had out of KGP. A place looking just like this came in the way. Loved it !

Missed it !

Once in my life I ran the half marathon. I completed it just in time. I loved it. The training i went through was something of an life experience. The day of marathon with all the people cheering around you, it was awesome. My self respect grew after running that marathon. And you know what I found a new passion in life. I found I could run and enjoy it.

But lately I was have been super busy. I haven’t exercised regularly and am leading a hectic life. As each day passes by I keep loosing a bit of my self respect. I dont want a fat belly. I want to look healthy and more importantly I want to feel healthy. I want to run that marathon again. And this time I want to run both Delhi and Mumbai Marathons!

So here it goes. I promise myself that from today onwards I will always find the time for myself to run. Work is important but health is too. I will have to balance my work to incorporate the time for workout! Health once gone, will be difficult to get back.

Man is limited not so much by his tools but by his vision

Something’s Unusual about this pic

When you lose, don’t lose the lesson.

Don’t let a little dispute injure a great friendship.

Live a good, honorable life. Then when you get older and think back, you’ll be able to enjoy it a second time.

Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.

We are different, in essence, from other men. If you want to win something, run 100 meters. If you want to experience something, run a marathon. - Emil Zatopek
